Question: Doctor I am just concerned. I have ectopic pregnancy about some months ago and today have just confirmed that am pregnant. What will happen if it is another ectopic. Will I ever give birth if my second tube is removed.?
Doctors Response :The risk of a recurrent ectopic is about 25%. If it is another ectopic and on the contralateral tube, a tubal surgery will be done. Assisted reproduction and commonly in vitro fertilization + embryo transfer will then be the alternative to getting pregnant.
