There is whitish water coming out from my breast, what can I do to stop my breast from discharge

Question: Please doctor what can I do to stop my breast from discharge. There is whitish water coming out from my breast. I don’t have any issue yet and have been trying to conceive for two years now

Doctors Response: Milky breast discharge otherwise known as galactorrhea is known to impede ovulation especially when it is as a result of elevated prolactin level (hyperprolactinaemia). An assessment of the prolactin level is needed to confirm this. Treatment of this is usually pharmacological. You will need to consult a Gynaecologist to help manage this clinical condition.
