I am 41 weeks pregnant and still expecting my water to break

Question: I am 41 weeks pregnant and still expecting my water to break,my doctor said he would induce me this week if my contraction isn’t strong. My last induction during my first delivery failed leading to a ceasearian operation. I wish to have a vaginal delivery on this present one

Doctors Response:  It will be nice to know why your last induction failed. That will be a guide as to what to expect in this pregnancy. It will also be important to know why your pregnancies are post dated and post term. Your doctor will have to monitor you closely while anticipating a vaginal delivery and revert to caesarean section if complication arises.
