Johnson & Johnson baby powder lost $72m in a law case to a customer

The Fox  family attributed the cause of death of Mrs Jackie aged 62 to talcum in Johnson baby powder. she was said to be diagnosed of ovarian cancer two years before she passed on. 

The case had the deceased son standing in place for her mom with the presence of  60 others people from the city of St. Louis Circuit Court. It was such an unexpected verdict as the jury asked Johnson & Johnson baby powder to pay the sum of $10m as actual damage and 62m as punitive damage.

Just wondering if this can happen in Nigeria.

This appears to be the first case where a huge sum will be paid as compensation in the last decade said,  Ap reporter.
