Question: I have been married for 10 years and I got pregnant once and lost it due to the fibroid in my womb. My doctor suggested I removed the fibroid. It has been 5 year since I did the fibroid operation and still not a single pregnancy. Please what could be wrong with me. I hope I will stil be able to get pregnant again.
Doctors Response: There are different factors which can prevent an individual from getting pregnant. Fibroid is just one of them. It is important to know if you ovulate and have an idea of your ovarian reserve. It is also important to know if your fallopian tubes are patent. Your husband semen parameters also needs to be checked. Pls see a fertility expert to assist you in this regard.
