I have my womb removed due to complications after my 3rd D&C

Question:I have my womb removed due to complications after my 3rd D&C. Can I still have a child in this life? I got married two years ago and my husband isn’t aware of the situation.

Doctors Response:

In the absence of your own womb, you will need to access IVF and surrogacy. Surrogacy. Involves getting another individual to help you carry the pregnancy. IVF involves fertilization of your eggs with your husband’s sperm outside your body. The resultant embryos are then transferred into the surrogate. After delivery you and your husband will then need to adopt the resulting offspring legally.
