Questions: My last 2 SFA shows a grossly reduced sperm count, motility and morphology. I have been told I may need a donor sperm if I am to have a child of mine. I am worried. What can I do?
Doctors Response: You will need to have your reproductive hormone assessed. This will give an insight as to what the likely cause is. IVF/ICSI may be your option however, antioxidants may sometimes be given to help improve the quality of your sperm. In the interim, avoid all social vices such as alcohol, smoking, illicit drugs and treat any pending sexual transmitted infections as these are known to reduce the quality of your sperm.
