How do I know am stressed up?

A person who is constantly under pressure physically and physiologically will be stressed out over and over again. We see the vigor of our day to day activities as been normal and our body is constantly been  over used above its limit. All these have effect on our health. How many times do you breath deeply in the course of doing your work? Tension and nervousness are sometimes caused as a result of this. It is sad enough that most people are used to overworking their system and cannot tell when they are stressed.

According to helpguide.org, stress is your body’s way of responding to any kind of demand or threat. When you feel threatened, your nervous system responds by releasing a flood of stress hormones, including adrenaline and cortisol, which rouse the body for emergency action. Your heart pounds faster, muscles tighten, blood pressure rises, breath quickens, and your senses become sharper. These physical changes increase your strength and stamina, speed your reaction time, and enhance your focus’.

NY times mentioned a number of devices  sold as stress trackers, to measure the signs of stress just exactly the way fitness tracking devices monitor steps and movement. According to them,The gadgets track the biological symptoms of stress ,changes in skin perspiration, breathing patterns and heart rate  in hopes of assisting people  to become aware of their stress levels.

The disadvantage of most devices is that while breathing patterns and skin sweat certainly can signal stress, they can also indicate a range of emotions and activities. Physiologically, there is not much difference between the stress of a work deadline and the excitement of watching your favorite sports team. Even going for a walk or jug stimulates a similar response from the sympathetic nervous system, which runs the body’s fight or flight mechanism. The same thing occurs in certain stages of sleep.’

But regardless of the existence of any devices, no machine knows what you know about your stress state. If only you can put it into writings or by heart those works or duties that are so demanding, then you might be able to manage stress.
Few things that could help are deep breath in between work, proper planning of those job functions, good eating habit, relaxation, find hobbies, take a break in between work and every other things that calm your nerves down. If that tears or smiles do ,please feel free without holding it back.
